I believe that family traditions change when children grow up and become adults. They may already have their own families, or they may become too busy working, even on holidays. This is why they set up a date when everyone is available, even if the occasion has passed. Some do not have a choice but to celebrate online. I think what matters more is that they find a way to make up for the missed family event. Do family traditions change when children grow up and become adults?

Culture and traditions evolve with time. There are family traditions that the children might find to be unappealing with the times and they decide to change such family traditions, as far as the greater number of family members have seen the need for a change.

Yes, family traditions often evolve as children grow into adults. Schedules, priorities, and living situations shift, so rituals may be adapted, simplified, or celebrated differently. Some traditions fade, others strengthen, and new ones emerge as families blend experiences and values across generations.

Yes, family traditions change as children become adults. Schedules, responsibilities, and personal identities shift, so old routines are harder to maintain. Some traditions fade while new ones form based on shared interests and practicality. The core meaning usually remains, even if the format evolves to match everyone’s new stage of life.

Some traditions change, and some do not. If you are culturally rooted, you will continue to follow the same tradition. For instance, we have a tradition of gathering during October festival and we have been always following this tradition.
