Divisional Week costs 500 tokenz to enter
WHAT
This is OffTopicz Wild Card Week Football Pool. Anyone is eligible to play. To get involved with the entire post season please view this thread. PLAYOFF POOL You may only post one set of picks per week. This will be an ongoing event with a new thread posted each week through Super Bowl 2009.
RULES
Copy and paste the list of this week's games. The list is at the end of this post. Be sure you copy all of the games for this week.
Pick the team you think will win each game. You may base your decisions upon any strategy you like.
Each week, there will be one game that is designated as the tie-breaker game. This week it is the last Sunday afternoon game. Not only should you pick the winner of the tie-breaker game, but you should also pick the total number of points scored by both teams.
(Example: If you think that the final score for the Titans vs. Chargers game will be 20 to 14, then you would write "34" for the total # of points because 20 + 14 = 34).
You may not edit your post. Anyone who has edited their post will not be eligible to play that week and their picks are void. No exceptions. Make sure that your picks are correct before you post them.
EXPLANATION OF TIE-BREAKER
At the end of each week, a list will be posted that shows who "won" that week and everyone's rank will be shown. The first criteria is the Win-Loss ratio. Whomever has picked the most winners will "win" the pool this week. If there is a tie between 2 or more people with the win-loss ratio, then I will use the tie-breaker guess to break the tie. The person who guesses closest to the total number of points scored by both teams will win the tie. If there is still a tie, the person who posted first will win the tie.
(Example: Person A posted first and her win-loss ratio is 4-0. She guessed a total of 31 points for the tie-breaker. Person B posted after Person A and his win-loss ratio is also 4-0. He guessed a total of 40 points. The actual score of the tie-breaker game was 21-14. The total points = 35. Person A would be ranked higher because her tie-breaker prediction was closer.)
WHAT DO YOU WIN
The winner of wild card week will win the pool of tokenz from those that have donated to the cause. I will also have the admins send over 1,000 rep points as we did in the regular season.
