a High school team could beat them. they are pathetic
I love it when people say this. No matter how bad a Pro team is there is no way a high school team could beat them. Even the worst pro was a very good college player. Same goes with college. No high school team is gonna beat a Div I college team.

there some damn good high school ball players for all sports out there.
kobe bryant went to the NBA right from High school and was better then most of the basketball players in the league at that time.
kevin garnett as well and lets not forget Lebron James.

I guess you do not get it.
Out of any high school team only a small percentage go to Div 1 college. Out of all the Div 1 college players only a small percentage make it to pro. So you are saying a high school team with a hand full of Div1 college level players are going to be able to beat the cream of the crop that made it to pro. Not a chance.
You might get this in baseball where a pitcher can take over a game but football is all about who is the fastest and strongest. The very worst of the pro would clean up on almost any high school player just on strength alone. now you add another 10 players on the field at a given time and there is not a snowballs chance in hell of those kids beating even the Lions.
This has been argued before and there is no logic to substantiate your view. Even the Div 1 college teams virtually never lose to a Div1A team. You might have an argument if you said take the best all american college players and put them together to play the Lions.
