Who all hates the dentist?

2 weeks ago, I went to get a root canal done. Well, the lady said she couldnt finish it because my canal was curved and she didnt have the tools for it or something. After being in PAIN for 2 weeks (getting woke up at night from agony ,ect) I finally have my appt for today to get it finished. BUT I AM SO SCARED! The first one hurt like hell and still does...

Dentists SUCK! (too bad we HAVE to go!)

I am terrified of the dentist. In fact, I havent been in a couple of years because of bad experiences. I know I need to go because I sure dont want to end of with teeth like a crack whore. Thats just disgusting. When I do get the nerve to go, they are going to have to give me lots of gas to make me not care.

they don't bother me but I cringe at the feeling and sound of them scraping with that curved pick when they do cleanings

I haven't been to the dentist since i was in like high school. I think one of my last times there was when I had my wisdom teeth pulled when I was a Junior in HS... Which was 99-00.

Dentists are just medical school rejects. They did one day of college, realised they were way out of their depth and just left, taking the page on teeth with them!

I hate going to the dentist, I'd rather give birth every 9 months..........I had a dental assistant jabbed me in the throat with the sucking tool they use

I don't mind the dentist, but I also hate that vibrating scraper thing they use to remove plaque. The sound makes my skin crawl! Other than that I like going to the dentist, I love the way my teeth feel after they get cleaned!

oh yeah, the orthodontist is another story! I HATED going in to have my braces tightened! Theyd always make the wires too long in the back and they'd poke holes in my cheek. And that wax they give you is a joke. 3 day headaches ftl

I got jabbed hard by the dentist on my gums above my upper teeth and ended up having to get stitches there. You talk about hurt!

Well, they finished my root canal and couldnt do the cap today, so they just filled it. I was in SOO much pain. I took 2 hydrocodene pills in 1 hour and I was still in BAD pain. I couldnt sleep at all. I HATE DENTISTS!!!!

I become a jellyfish when it comes to the dentist. I have to psych myself up for a week just for my 3 monthly checkup and polish.

Yeah, I don't like people molesting my teeth. The dentist is also very expensive.

I had a root canal back in May, and it was horrible. The dentist that I went to gave me some meds so I would feel kind of loopey before I came in. he told me to take 2 pills the night before and I think it was another 2 one hour before the appt. Once I got to the appt I felt really drugged up...actually a lot. I don't remember the procedure hurting...in fact, I don't really remember much of it at all.

Turns out that the dumb asshole gave me my dad's prescription amount. OKAY. My dad is over 300lbs. seriously. over 300lbs. And at the time I was about 105lbs, if that.

After the appt, I couldn't even walk. Needless to say, I still have money that I owe there that i'm not going to pay.

I've also had many other bad experiences.
