So they would still have the Super Majority needed to pass the health care "reform" legislation <--- link

Of course, this is after they changed state law last year in order to appoint someone to Kennedy's seat, a law that they created in 2004 in case John Kerry won the Presidential election so Gov. Romney couldn't appoint someone. Not to mention the fact that in 2007, the same Secretary of State bypassed the same law that would delay the seating of Brown in order to immediately seat a member of the House that won in a special election so that they could override a Bush veto.

Disgusting. It'd be disgusting if it was happening on the other side too. Whoever wins should have their vote certified ASAP so they can begin serving, regardless of the politics at play.

They want to pass that health care crap no matter what.

If they delay they will be just digging them selves a bigger grave to bury more liberals this November

There is plenty of precedent to put him in office immediately.

This was not a win by a whisker and she conceded so there is no excuse to delay and if they try to the liberals will be fully exposed and prove they are no different or better than the right wingers

It's such a load of crap that they need 60 to pass the health care bill. There are other options out there that would only need 51 votes to pass it.

On a side note, I heard Brown talking today and he seems to be a guy I could get behind politically. He seems to be "unbought" by either side.

Hell, who am I kidding. He is probably just another politician and it will be business as usual when the Republicans get ahold of him when he makes it to Washington.

Through reconciliation? Are you kidding? There's so much that could not be changed in reconciliation that they'd never get 51 via that route.

Chalk it that dream up to more bitching and moaning about the fact the American people don't want this shit and never did....

It's not his brains or his mouth that's important, only his butt -- a republican butt filling that 41st chair. Other than that, he's likely irrelevant.
I'm looking forward to the debates broadcast on CSPAN.
