thats one of my favorites too (of the horse)
I have one other animal one that I adore...didnt realize til I got home and developed the film that I caught a cow scratching his ear with his hinde hoof. Ill have to see if I can find it but its too cute lol

thank you Ive always loved doing it....just heard so much that I could never amount to anything with it that I kinda let go of it for a long time. Finally realized what I allowed myself to lose when i gave up that hope Even if I cant make a career outta it. I still enjoy it

Kat, I'm sorry anyone ever told you that you were a bad photographer. There are doctors who have degrees and had straights "A" that should not practice and a University or any degree means little if you degrade others.
Even the worse photographer get a good picture no and then.
Don't stop enjoying photography because you don't meet others expectations. Its you that should be deciding how happy you are with each picture taken not others especially if its a hobby.
I think most of these shots are great and tough some are not my "cup of tea" i would hardly say they are bad pictures. Start doing what made YOU happy again and forget other peoples opinion.
Just my opinion of course..

I think you should really go back to photography. I love most of your nature pics- 5-8. You're able to use effectively the rule of thirds using water and pathways to direct your viewers eyes to the scenery :thumbup
thanks ...Im looking into a few classes for it soon to learn more. My bf gave me a really nice camera that would do wonders for me...just gotta learn how to use it right. I just havent used it yet. Hes been on me for years to try to get me back into it. (side note: I love how he encourages me and helps me get past all the bullshit I had drilled into me by old scum)

you should get back into it,lets face it not many are lucky enough to make a career out of it......its just a fantastic hobby to the majority of us

I totally agree. It's just a hobby for me too. Am after what it gives me- enjoying nature and keeping it close to me in a sense( like bringing nature right in front of me to look at & enjoy everyday) It's a step by step process Kat to learn more about photography & be totally good at it...if you enjoy it, don't be affected by what others have to say.... GO for eeeettt!!!
lol thanks everyone for the encouragement. i have plans to go to sleeping giant next week sometime when I have gas $$ figure ill take a morning to myself and enjoy the scenary work on pictures a bit...I woulda gone today but for lack of gas lol
