Dear Food court lady at my workplace,

I am sorry you seem to hate your job so much that you cant force yourself to do it with a smile, look at the customers in front of you or even acknowledge them for that matter... we all know dispensing shitty-microwaved-overpriced food is a pain in the ass.

I do however feel the urge to remind you that in these days, and with this economy, I am sure there are thousands of other people who would LOVE to have the chance to do your job, do it gracefully and god for-fucking-bid do it with a smile.

Now give me my shitty-and-overpriced food as i have to get back to work...


What is it with some people that work in the service industry?? and yes, i worked it and probably the worst type of them all (food industry) so I know the pain in the ass that the common restaurant customer is, but really? Some of these fucking people look at you like you beat up their kid, fucked their wife and kicked their mom..

I stood at the damn counter for a full 3 minutes looking right at this broad, while she just stared at the wall (im not shitting you) LOL
then when i got tired of staring at her with the :| face she looked at me like i was bothering her...

some fucking people... LOL

:24: Dude I so know what you mean, it's like an epidemic at McDonalds or was when I used to eat there back in the day. Esp at the drive thru. Oh and on that note, I was a food service worker for a year at a local college it does blow.

I was that girl, at CVS, no lie. I wanted to light myself on fire most of the time, and it was beyond time to quit. I wasn't intentionally rude but I was despondent lol.

That's funny. I was at Subway today gettin' myself a Subway melt and the attendant was a moody dude. Didn't smile, didn't acknowledge me. Lol, whatever, got my shit and left.

Some people just don't get it! I hate people who have "customer service" jobs and are rude to their customers but yet they expect a tip or a raise. My tip to them is get a personality! Customers are what keep many businesses running. Every lost customer is a loss in revenue.

I had a cashier at a grocery store yesterday talking to another cashier and kept inputting all my produce wrong. I had to keep stopping her to fix her mistakes. She couldn't grasp the concept that her talking to another cashier = screw ups!
