That is true. If your working on getting a better situation then that is what it is all about. At least your trying. What do you do ?

yeah, some of the jobs we do are at the end of some of our spectrum (and we took them knowing that) but we are employed (just haven't found ourselves where we want to land just yet)

Had a dead end job once. It helped pay the bills till I found something much better. Tough economy to find a decent job right now.

I also worked crappy jobs before since I have been twice layed off. It sucks but keep looking. My employer contacted me actually so if you can get your resume online somewhere I would. I get calls and emails all the time for jobs all over Canada and even the US.

them calling you? that is awesome, but the economy in Canada is better than it is here in the USA.....and your dollar keeps getting stronger by the day

I suppose that's true. I live in one of the worst cities for employment in Canada, it is pretty depressing. I am actually moving soon because I currently commute. It was hard finding work here and what jobs I could get at small companies did not pay well enough or stick around.

I've always managed to make a lifestyle out of my jobs. Even driving trucks on an urban delivery route can be great fun if you can build rapport with the people that you work with.

My job has very clear upwards mobility, but I'm uninterested in the path it heads in. I'll probably end up completely changing my career path in a few years, it's just a matter of working up the courage to do it.

You're an accountant right? Do you plan on taking the CPA?
