Daylight Savings Time

I do like having it light out until 9pm in the summer. I don't mind daylight savings time. I'm so used to it that it would be weird without it now.

Couldn't the same thing be accomplished by getting up an hour earlier and it being dark at 8 pm

That's not hot when you think about the 110-115 degree summers we have in Tucson.

In Missouri it is..as we have high humidity.
However low eighties isnt hot when you strip out the humidity.

I hate to say it. But yeah dry heat isn't to bad. I hat humidity.

For sure...I can roast my butt here at 85 when its humid...on rare occasion we will have a very hot day with very low humidity...which is much better.

Yeah, I agree. I hate shorter days in the winter too !

Makes no difference to me now I'm retired...I don't need to look at that thing on the wall.The Earth still goes round the Sun at the same rate no matter what puny humans do.
Daylight...get up.
Dark...go bed.

Time change is terrible! I changed one hour backwards before I went to sleep and then my clock automatically changed one more hour. That's how I woke up at 6.45 when I start work at 7 lol. Fortunately I work only 20 mins walk from home so I was 10 minutes late. It was Sunday so no drama.

I prefer having day until later, but I understand the change because if it didn't my kids would go to school still during the night, so there's a valid reason for me.

We are on standard time now..{non adjusted}...the clocks are advanced after winter during march to make the days longer on the tail end.
