You are absolutely right. I'm not a boy. I'm a man. There's a difference, and someday you, yourself may be a man. Though today isn't that day, and tomorrow doesn't look good either.

I applied to be a Supervisor for Supply at the VA Palo Alto. It doesn't pay nearly as good as my current job, but it's a full time federal position. I don't have any problems getting promoted, so I can take a pay cut for a bit, in lieu of a federal career.

So you mean to say IF i accept my job opportunity at VA Palo Alto- we're gonna be in the same facility ?? Is that awesome or is that awesome....not!?

It's going to be a long process before I hear anything, I never put any faith in the federal system.

I was offered a job at the U.S. Geological Survey last year as a GS-7, and right before I started they pulled the position's funding.

Given my State service, and Feds is no longer Calpers, right? Does it mean i can no longer add my retirement credits from State ?? What happens to my Calpers credits? I am clueless :willy_nilly:
