Yeah, you're right. Haha. It just seems like every other day on OTz is a drama packed day.
I like to hide in here where the idiots don't run rampant.![]()

You've been hanging out too much by the beach eh. *jealous*
I'm going to take an unpopular view here and say that without the occasional drama, things get boring. There's only so many posts about what everyone had for lunch that you can take before it gets tedious.
I'm not saying drama is all that keeps a forum running, but pretty much every forum runs on people wanting to log on and read something interesting, and there's nothing more interesting than two or more people laying into each other verbally. So long as you have core groups that can rub along together even through the disagreements, drama keeps things spicy.
It's not very pleasant, but I've been on forums that were heavily moderated to prevent the slightest bit of drama and the member turnover was way higher - far more people who'd not been there long than long-term members, a far smaller core of trusted, older people.

If you need drama to keep from getting bored, I'm worried for you.![]()
I did say, drama isn't everything that makes things interesting. But it sure helps. I'm not going to sit here and say drama is just terrible for forums because although obviously it's not that pleasant to be in the middle of, it gets people talking and keeps them online longer.
