I heard...some co-workers who have attempted to retire, after a few months are wanting to get back to work again. They say when one's body is used to working that it's quite hard to make yourself not do anything at all.....

I will just attempt to get more time offs and vacations then

My MIL is 81 and still works 11 hours a day.. she took last week off.. nearly drove me insane cuz she was bored to death.. she basically had Liam with her most of the time because she wanted something to do... ...

Vacations work cuz then they are special.. trust me if you were home all the time it gets old very fast.

I agree with you jassilem after a while get old at home and when everyone work there is not much fun to do even you are home it is just house work or be bored and people that think you will go out often this not happen always if you step your foot out needs money and with this i dont mean you will buy anything

Exactly... You can go for a walk.. but walking around and around your neighbour gets boring after awhile.. Change it up go to the mall.. oh there's a sale here or there's a sale there.. If you have a kid.. mommy I am hungry.. or mommy me want.. It gets expensive quick.

So of late I have been spending my time either online or watching movies with Liam cuz well it's cheaper.. and sometimes entertaining.

I picked up two movies today so tomorrow we will watch the kids one I got.. and I will watch Bridesmaids if Liam goes to sleep.. Plus I PVR'd Glee and NCIS cuz they were both on when I was putting Liam to bed.. I might watch NCIS before bed tonight though.

You should check Craigslist for a used TV, you can usually find old "heavy" TV's for either free or like $20.

He's got one in his room.. just no cable.. I have a spare cable box.. just no splitter or junk of cable.. .. He loves his treehouse.

You should get a couple feet of coaxial cable, and a set of RCA cables, shouldn't cost more than about $10, and you can have your TV back.

Get this.. the reason I haven't done it before.. is because Jamie has complained that Liam shouldn't have cable in his room.... but Jim is only home at night when Liam is in bed and he can do whatever he likes with the tv in the living room..

Friday I think I am giving Liam treehouse in his room just to spite someone..
