so this morning my cousin max tried to commit suicide...he had a gun in his hand and his mom walked in on him and tried to knock the gun away...in the process the gun went off and shot max in the face and shot his mom's thumb off. They are both in the hospital but they will both be ok. Hopefully this scared the shit out of him enough for him to realize how dumb he was being.

An incident such as this can stir up so many differing emotions. Make sure you talk to someone if you need to make a little sense out of everything.

i actually kinda feel bad that i dont feel as bad about it...its tragic, but i dont really feel much of a connection to these people because i havent seen or heard from them in over 10 years...and we were never that close...i should feel worse...i dunno.

i understand what you mean. And you have the right to feel that way. Someone that you're closer to, you're obviously gonna be more hurt over it. I have plenty of cousins that had died....but none that I would be close enough to to feel horrible and cry over.

For some reason suicides are happening alot around here. We have had 2 shootings, 2 hangings and 1 overdose... Its crazy. I dont understand.

Im sorry to hear about it though. Maybe now he can get the proper help (and meds) to help him deal.
