Ive been to NY a few times and didnt find them rude to me at all, I think thats a bad stereotype.
That being said you get your fair shair of assholes no matter what state youre in just depends on the individual you have to deal with for the day.

I dealt with lots of Yanks yesterday. Maybe they are just super nice in that area because of all the pot smoke wafting down from B.C.
