so im walking up the stairs to my room. well we have wood floors and stairs and i happen to get a damn splinter in the heel of my left foot. i got the splinter out but damn now it hurts to walk now

it's original hardwood floors from the 1920s. the previous owners didn't take care of it well enough and now some parts of the floors/stairs are splintering out. Nothing I can do about it yet. He just needs to stop dragging his feet around.
