Maybe folks should lay off a bit. I have had my share of "Skorpy Moments", myself. I remember plenty of evenings when I found myself at loose ends. Would have loved some company but everybody I could think of would have been occupied with kids, activities, all that jazz.

I can't say, obviously, if the responses to her were made in good natured jest, or total snarkiness. I hope like hell it's the former for if not, this thread somewhat reminds me of Junior High School with the accompanying attitudes.

Sometimes a cry is uttered by someone who truly needs friendship and understanding and is met with derision. Again, I can't say for sure that anyone here was being derisive, but, to the one who is pleading for someone to help easy a lonely moment, it would seem that way.
