FYI... it had nothing to do with the DVD. The player froze up from being left on to long. It needed to be unplugged to get it to reset so we could even open it...

seems to be working fine now... but it wasn't the disk

Which is why I love my PS2. If I forget to shut it off with a DVD in it(I always seem to be rushing somewhere, so I tend to just shut off the TV), I never have to worry about it freezing up. I've had this PS2 for going on 2 years, left it on for up to 3 days(Haven't done it any longer than that so far), and it still works perfectly. :cool
