Not sure how many of you knew.. But I had to take my father to surgery (all the way in atlanta) monday morning.. Well, My sister was suppose to pick him up when he was released.. However, He told me "i want YOU to pick me up" in the child's voice.. GOD, Pain meds make him funny. So I told him that he would have to get released thursday for me to pick him up.. I figured he would of called me early this morning.. He didnt, so I planned my day. HE JUST now called and told me they are releasing him after he goes pee.. It wouldnt be so bad if it wasn't 2 hours away AND atlanta traffic!!! 
I do want to be the one there for him.. So dont get me wrong. I love my daddy very much.
BTW, He had a total knee replacement.
