Well Dad didn't want a service but he was retired Coast Guard so we are going to have a 21 gun salute and they will present me with the flag at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetary tomorrow.
I have such mixed feelings. I was mad nobody told me when my stepmother died, I loved that lady a lot and I would have wanted to attend the funeral. Then to have my cousin call me at work to tell me my dad died three days ago, well that was pretty shocking.
Then after missing a few days work I go back to work and suffer a grand mal. I did like the part about waking up to all the good looking firemen
but other than that I hurt my hip somewhat and I'm back on medication.
I have not liked this year so far. My hubby has been very understanding, even when my drinking got out of hand a few nights. He's been stellar.
I loved my father but I didn't always like him and the man could hurt me like noone on earth. I intend to hang the flag I'm given and Joe wishes to hang the Irish flag at our property.
