speaking of Alan Jackson... Everytime I go into a certain store I'm ALWAYS hearing Chattahoochee.. I remember when that song was HUGE back in 92... I kinda think it's cheesy novelty value is annoying.

You've heard 99% of country music?

Anyways, I don't listen to a lot of it, and don't listen to much of the new stuff (seems like country is blending more with the pop that we're hearing these days...), but I do dig the outlaw country like Steve Earle and Johnny Cash.
To be honest it's just not a genre I go out of my way to explore but if someone gave me some music like the two I mentioned I'd gladly check it out.

He and Willie Nelson probably the only two country singers I can stand to listen to, and even then only in small doses...

I know Alan Jackson. He's a good guy and one of the very very few country music singers I can listen to. Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert are really good too. Thats it, the list stops there. I wish I'd never heard of Taylor Swift or Kenny Chesney.:thumbdown
