The murdered woman was originally sold ( willingly ) to an older Pakistani man for a given sum of money. The father acquired debts he couldn't pay off so demanded a greater sum than what was agreed upon.
The suitor didn't have enough to satisfy the father, but they married anyway. The daughter and her husband were headed to the police station for protection when the woman's family caught up with her in front of the police station and stoned her to death with the police watching and refusing to intervene.

Rape Charges Against Ex-Conn. State Police Trooper

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) — Police investigating the brutal rape of an 81-year-old woman in Windsor Locks have arrested a former Connecticut state police trooper.

Police said on Saturday that 43-year-old Jeffrey Laporto of Windsor was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of first-degree unlawful restraint. He is held on $250,000 bond and will appear in court Monday.


Police allege Laporto met the victim at a local bar. A conversation that ensued led to both going to her hotel room just after midnight Friday.

The victim’s son called police about two hours later reporting the rape. Police say she was taken to hospital for treatment of ‘‘extensive internal injuries.’’

It was not immediately clear if Laporto has a lawyer.

Local news outlets identified Laporto as a former state trooper.

Police are withholding the identity of the victim and will not release additional details as required by state law.

Still, Windsor Locks Police Chief described the attack as ‘‘a sickening crime’’ and praised his investigators for arresting Laporto less than 24 hours after the incident.

Pakistan has always been been like that, Man.
But I do think there was a time before the Soviet intrusion where Afg culture was unique and not a reflection of the Pakistani perversions.
