Could the very thing that is supposed help me sleep be inhibiting it?

I dunno wtf is up. I dunno if my internal clock is just whack or it's my bipap but I try to go to bed at 9-10 and only stay asleep 2 to 4 hours and can't seem to get back to bed til 5 or 6 in the morning. The only time I've experienced a full nights "sleep" is when alcohol has been involved lately.

What are you doing right before you go to bed?

Also, 9-10 seems a little early to me. Try going to bed at 11. See how that works out. And instead of watching TV or doing whatever you do right up until 'time for bed' try scheduling in half an hour of winding down time, where you start getting ready for bed, maybe drink a glass of milk or something, put on some relaxing music and start slowing down.
