Feeling overwhelmed by emotions, whether sadness, anger, or even joy, can take a toll on mental health. How do you handle moments when emotions feel too big to manage? What technique helped you calm intense emotions?

When I feel overwhelmed, I pause and practice deep breathing or short walks. Journaling helps me untangle my thoughts. Setting small, manageable goals prevents burnout. I’ve learned reaching out to friends or professionals makes a big difference, it’s okay not to handle everything alone.

Dealing with emotions is something we all need to do. The fact remains that not all the people are able to deal with emotions and they act upon their urges in a negative manner. For example, many people have a harder time controlling their anger.

You will experience emotional overwhelm if you are too attached with it, or if you are expecting something. If you don't have expectation, if you are not attached, and if you are not afraid of outcomes, no matter, it will be easier to keep yourself detached from emotions
