controlling your dreams?

I seem to always dream that Im falling off a cliff and I end of jumping. Some other dreams I have are so freaky that when I wake up it seemed so real.

the hard part of controling my dream is staying asleep , it seems the more control i have the harder it is to stay under. :dunno

sometimes i can, if i am aware that i am dreaming i can sort of steer the dream in a certian direction or what not. sometimes it helps if before you fall asleep you think to yourself that you want to control the dream and kinda plan it before hand.

I can control my dreams 100% probably because I played too many video games and watched too much TV when I came to America. I still do some of that, but not as much.

I've studied up quite a bit on Lucid Dreaming... I've attempted some of the techniques with minimal success; though I haven't stayed with it.

Most of the time I get to the point of becoming lucid... I awake.

well i tried and it actually worked, just kept trying to make myself aware that i was about to fall asleep, needless to say once in dream state i was able to realize i was dreaming and guide it somewhat.
