UPDATE:
She came through the surgery like a champ yesterday. She was supposed to be in the intensive care unit for 3 days.
As of 11:00 this morning, she is already in a regular suite. She says she is hardly in any pain. If it wasn't for the chest tube you would not even know anything was wrong with her. (other than the incision)
They did not use a pig valve like originally said. They used bovine valve instead.
Should be back home in a week or so.
