Well then. :p

Things are good otherwise. Been gaming quite a bit and I have a 10 day vacation from Doug starting on Friday which means lots more gaming. :D

The convention was awesome. I went to a couple panels, one on Epic Fantasy and another on Exploring Fantasy... both with one of my favorite authors of all time: Robin Hobb. I really enjoyed both panels... so it's something that I'll do again. Robin has inspired me to start my book. She told everyone there to make sure that if they wanted to write to start now. That we'd never have any more time, experience, etc and there was no wrong way to write a book. So yes... one very good thing out of the experience.

They also had Q&A sessions for actors from The Walking Dead, Goonies, LOTR, Evil Dead and Buffy, which were all awesome! Bruce Campbell was the best though. He's such an asshole but absolutely hysterical.

All in all... it was a lot of fun. I probably won't go back next year unless they have another one of my favorite writers though. The convention itself wasn't organized well and it's mostly all about the Fright Night Film Fest and not so much on the Fandom side.

So yeah... I'm happy I went and I'm proud of myself that I had the guts to do it on my own.

Hells yeah! I had to pay full price for a book since silly me forgot to bring one. Ah well... it was worth it. :)

Been there myself. At Fangoria 2007, I had pulled the Phantasm DVD to bring and have it signed by Don Coscarelli, Reggie Bannister, Bill Thornbury, and Kathy Lester. When I got to the front of the line, I reached in my bag, and found that I'd put the DVD in the bag, but for some reason removed the cover I wanted signed!

So, I had to pay $20 for the DVD in line, at least the signatures were free. :p

Meh. Not quite sure today. I'm trying to cheer myself up and thus far I have failed miserably. Even my chocolate shake isn't helping. Maybe I should just smack myself instead? :D

Sometimes it's the only way. I personally like to bang my head on the wall. I think I end up losing brain cells and forget why I'm not feeling right :tooth
