So my not so fun fact today is pretty interesting:

FACT: If a boy is born without testosterone, his genitalia will mimic that of a female: the scrotum forms labia majora-the outer lips of a vagina-and the penis becomes a sort of clitoris. That's the guy you don't want to tell to go fuck himself, because he might try.

I have seen a few babies with ambiguous genitalia, it looks like either a large clitoris or a small penis. Hormone testing determines what the sex of the baby is.

Some babies are born male with female insides - ie ovaries. My job is pretty insightful sometimes.

Oh God don't even talk to me about that. I am scared shitless of having a baby because I work with sick and premature ones. I'm boxed in and forget about all the thousands of healthy babies that are born. I'm coming to perceive my workplace as the 'norm'.

Yeah.. I have a court hearing about child support and visitation schedules for PJ... the call was mainly to tell me she wants MORE money.... but that it would be convenient to tackle the visitation at that time...
