Alicia and I just got a pack of those... this is basically day one for both of us. We got the generic version from CVS. It's the exact same formula but it was $10 cheeper than the commit was. My plan is to quit smoking and only use the losanges when needed, not as a replacement.

I hope they work for you... Good luck

the commit's are on sale $10 off at walmart right now :) how do you like them? I had 2 yesterday, they last a LONG time in my mouth. The first one i made the mistake of chewing and swallowing them when they got little...DONT do that, they burn your throat! When you are done just spit them out.

i wanted to get over the nikotine additon as fast as possible so i didn't use any patches or losanges , buy useing them you prolong the additon making it harded to quit , staying away from other smokers was one of the most importent things i could do , it seems like their is always someone there ready to help you screw it all up ,again good luck . ps 52 days free and going strong .;)

When I tried to give up I found the nicotine enhalers the best, the patches made me feel sick, probably because I'm not that heavy a smoker, just roll ups and the occasional cigar.

You should move over here if you want to give up smoking. The're trying to have a big push to get people to give up as the ban on smoking in pubs in coming in soon so you can get the enhalers on prescription. As I'm not working it means I got them for free but even if you are working it means a months supply will only cost you £5 (about $7-8)

My mom and dad just recently quit smoking. My dad went cold turkey while my mom is doing the patches. So far they've gone a month without smoking.

I had only one today at work, it made me SO SICK. I had it in my mouth and I just felt like I was going to throw up the entire time that I had it in there. I didn't even finish it all and spit it out....besides the little burning that i had in my mouth and what felt like there was something in my throat. But it did help with the craving for a little while. I didn't have another one after that, I just kept shoving gum in my mouth and at some point i'm sure I was rocking back and forth and shaking lol.

wow, is every one quitting here. I started using the comit losanges about 2 weeks ago. the burn and what not dosnt bother me to much(actualy I kinda like it) since I was not a smoker but a dipper. They seem to work pretty well for me. Been going through gum like a mad man tho. got to keep something in my mouth(insert lame joke here). The only problem I have had really is the other day I was using one of the losanges and someone made me laugh. sucked it right into my winpipe and allmost chocked to death.

yeah they totally remind me of dip! lol i even keep a little bottle nearby to spit in. and i dont really suck on them, i just keep em between my gum and my lip. HAHA ouachiski, that made me giggle, sorry i shouldn't laugh at your near death experience but i can see something like that happen to me. I hated the taste of them at first but now i am used to them and they taste minty like. I am definitely preferring the taste of the losanges to the nasty after cig breath. Oh I found one side effect. DONT let them sit on your teeth or get stuck in your molars! My first one i chewed with my back molars and now it is REALLY cold sensitive. like i cringe when i drink water. So now I just keep em tucked back like dip. I actually had to ask my boss if i could use them at work because we odnt allow gum or candy in the store, i told her i wouldn't take any smoke breaks anymore if she let me keep em in my mouth and she agreed lol.

I quit when I was 17. My mom found a pack in my purse. I thought she was going to murder me. That was reason enough for me to never smoke another one.

And I haven't LOL.

So, hows every one been doing on their quitting. I broke after allmost a month and a half. My knee started acting up real bad and the intense pain had me at the end of my ropes alone. I can only handle so mutch at a time. I am better than I was before I started quitting. I have broken several of my gotta do it when Im doin this habbits like driving or working.

Any way just curious how you all are doing on your way to beeing nicotine free.

i started smokin when i was 15 and gave up at the age of 21. it wasnt that hard for me coz i was determined to give up. the easiest way i found to give up was by havin gum in my mouth all the time. when i met my ex alecia over here in england she was a smoker and needed cigs to keep her calm and she got me started on them again and i was on for about 2 months and then gave up again. and then a while later my current wife jo came and she is a heavy smoker, she constantly has a cig in her mouth and she was givin me some. luckily ive managed to quit again. its hard enough to quit without havin 2 other people that you live with smokin. im managin to get alecia to quit but jo is non-stop. have u got any suggestions of how i can get jo to quit coz everythin im tryin isnt workin. even alecia, jack and chelsea are tryin to get her to quit but it isnt workin either.
