The advert for it features clips of Janice Dickinson. Did you ever see her on celeb Come Dine With Me? She was an absolute loon. I always loved her on America's Next Top Model but it was truely cringeworthy watching her on Come Dine With Me.

Hahaha yes that was great! And the mirrors over his bed... Eurgh!

I really loved Donny Osmond on it. He was so sweet and funny and I felt gutted that all the celebs turned up late for his evening (witout apology!) so he couldn't do both his starters.

Me too! I always try to get to places early even if it means a wait. But even if I am late, then I always apologise - it's just manners.

Exactly!

I like the way Donnie didn't make a big fuss about it though. Just imagine if everyone turned up really late to one of the other celeb's nights. They would have gone mental!

Me and some friends did a Come Dine With Me type dinner party a while back and 3 of us took on a different course. I did the pudding.

It was great fun. I'd baked profiteroles in the afternoon but I was too drunk to fill them with cream in the evening, so other people had to! But they were nice <has vague memories>

Aw sounds fun! A girl I work with did a come dine with my competition with her friends where they took turns to host a dinner party. I'd like to try it but I dont have anywhere in my flat to eat (tv dinner party?!) and I'm not much of a cook.

I'm watching the top 30 show. Tis good!

What I don't understand though, is the type of people who REALLY HATE the Vegetarians/Vegans/Allergy suffers/Muslims/Jews who don't eat some types of food.

I just watched some guy have a strop because one of his guests were *shock* Vegetarian and won't eat a pasta bake as he had used parmesan (not usually Vegetarian friendly as it is made with animal rennet). It reminded me of another show where a woman was absurdly rude to a Jewish lady who didn't eat Prawns as they aren't Kosher.

I just don't understand it! It's not too hard to make sure that food is suitable, and if the contestants really struggle to cook 1 meal for 3-4 guests and 1 seperate meal for another person (because they are idiots?), then why don't they just cook one single meal for all? Why serve that 1 guest utter shit as revenge, when they will be marking you as well! My mind boggles at times.

Ooh I'm excited to watch it tomorrow now. I dont understand either about the dietary requirements. My dad has coeliac so to me, having to make a separate meal for that or dairy intolerance or whatever is no different to those who choose not to eat meat (although it won't cause adverse effects in the same way as the others would). Just my opinion.

I agree.

It's different when it's the type of guest who is fussy as hell and won't eat anything except their own cooking. But I just can't understand the venom of some people towards other's eating habits. Or when people get stupidly angry at a Muslim host not serving alcohol on their night. If you can't spend 1 night in 4-5 nights without booze - to the point you rant and rave about not drinking for 1 night on national tv - you've got a problem in my opinion.

But maybe I'm just odd as I rarely drink :p
