Cold weather

I am SO ready for some cold weather! I cant wait to get some snow. I guess its a little too early to be thinking about it but winter is my favorite time of the year and I cant wait for it to get here!

Yep. Sometimes we got lots of snow and sometimes we get just enough snow for school to be out for 1 or 2 days.
The most I can remember getting was 6 years ago, we had a BAD ice storm.

I didn't think it snowed much if at all down there. Figured the humidity and the northern winds would keep the warm coast air over Arkansas.

It usually doesnt snow or get any ice until Feburary or March though. Ive ALWAYS wanted a white christmas

It's a good time. Although it gets old real quick.

Remember last February when I slammed my truck into the curb and bent the rim?

Snow and ice on a sloped road = not fun.

I remember you telling us about that.......that would definately suck!

I like the snow and all........just dont ask me to drive in it. Big mistake. Been there, done that and wrecked into the ditch

we rarely ever have white christmases... actually i remember more white thanksgivings... but i think it was 3 years ago... we had the WORST snow storm on christmas day... all 40 some of us had to stay the night up at my aunts because there was a state of emergency and everything was closed-- frikkin scary too... it snowed like 2 ft in maybe an hour??

I cant wait for the fall! I cant wait to go in the mountains and see all the leaves changing!!!!!

fall is my absolute favorite season.. its gorgeous weather, awesome landscape and there is so much to do outside... its not so hot that you melt...and you really stay out for most of the day... the dogs like it too, cuz they can finally breathe through their smashed up lil snouts again!

Yeah it's really no fun at all. Fort wayne sucks, a 6" snow fall happened through the day once and it took them until 8 pm to finally get the arterials cleared...

I know not of this cold weather you speak of. The elder have stories they tell of ice falling from the sky but alas none of us have seen enough passing of the sun to have witnessed it for ourselves.

I prefer the heat myself. Coats and sweaters and hats and gloves - all too much trouble.

I am half in agreeance with these two posts. However attics when it's 100 degrees outside... meh. I like being up in attics when it's cold.

yeah but it's so much easier to cool off on a summers day than it is to get warm on a winters day. imo.

It's cheaper to run the heat than the AC in my car though, but you are right.

You can always put on more clothes in the winter to get warm.....you can never take enough clothes off to cool off in the winter

I love the autumn (what you call fall). It's so pretty that time of yr and the temp is just right for me.

Amy took the words right out of my mouth, about the clothes thing - it's true, we can at least add clothes and warm up when it gets colder (although I don't like winter), but no matter what we wear in summer, nothing cools me down, not even having the fan on.
