It's scary. I live on the west coast of Florida, When I was a little girl, there were reefs out there and we could swim out to them and snorkel around.

Now they're all gone! And much of the west coast of Florida is what is called a 'dead zone.'

They have tried dumping old barges and what not out there in an effort to make artificial reefs. But I think it will be a couple of lifetimes before it can really be reversed.
