It's so calming... and therapeutic for me... I have the tunes blasting, and I'm just cleaning my lil heart away. I love going through old junk, and getting rid of stuff I dont use/need anymore.. It makes me feel happy :D



...and then sometimes you find something in a corner or under the bed, and you say "thaaaaaaaat's where you've been hiding!!!"

Bah... Some people hate cleaning... me...

my house isnt a war zone... I started with the closet... gettin rid of stuff thats too big or that I dont wear.. then I went to throw something out in the kitchen... and decided to clean the fridge out... then went to use the bathroom and decided on some scrubbin bubbles for the tub

I did that this weekend. Went thru my closet and got rid of clothes and shoes I havent worn in years.
My girls room is so bad, they wont keep in clean to save their own butts so I got aggravated with them this weekend. I told them if they wanted to live like pigs, I was gonna clean their room out like a pigpen. I took a rake and a shovel and threw away tons of crap. They were ticked at me, but man it felt good to look at a clean room after I was done!
 
I love to clean. My bf can't stand being at my apartment. He'll drink something and sit the glass down, and I just look at him, waiting for him to put it in the dishwasher. Yeah, I'm one of those types. But cleaning out closets and drawers- yay! It's a little trip down memory lane.
 
Tomorrow my big project is cleaning out the baby's room. I piled a bunch of boxes in there with random junk that we haven't really unpacked yet, and tomorrow I am going to go to walmart to buy a bunch of big plastic bins, so i can at least have some organization to all the chaos in there. Then I am going to get some kind of wall mounted bracket type shelves and install them in the garage to put the bins on. I just have so much oddly shaped random crap (mostly matts computer parts and old crap i dont want to get rid of, stuffed animals, etc) so i figure this is the cheapest yet most organized way to do it. It will probably take 2-3 days to finish though. But then I can go buy the paint for the baby room! yay.
