ok folks need some opinions. i have to decide whether or not to have the baby circumsied. when i had my last son, i didnt have any one to ask so hunter was not (apparently neither was my dad, but like i told my mom thats TMI :24

i have asked a few guy friends who have sons, and one in particular is very against doing it, even though he had it done to his son. from what i have read, the US is one of the only countries that rountinely have it done to newborns. apparently now its even considered a "cosmetic" surgery.

so discuss the pro's and con's!

I am not going to get into the yays and nays part..

This is what I was told by my OBGYN.. he said you tend to go with what the father is.. that when when they are growing up and they see their dad peeing etc they look the same as well.

thank yall! the babys father is, however i think we are leaning more towards not doing it. from what i have read there is a small increase in chance of spreading the HPV virus later on. i just think that again, here in the US we do it just to do it. i cant find any medical journal or article that shows the absoulte need for it to be done.
