Anyone have one of these when they were a kid? I had a few, used to customise them and everything. The most inpractical but most fun bikes ever!:nod: I found that moped tyres fitted on the front wheel!

Yeah, I do too but when you're 8, what I had was the best you could do!

Oh yeah, good for kids, just not for serious riders. Someone showed up over the ramps on a Mongoose and they were in for a serious amount of piss taking, not to mention, maybe a broken neck for trying to put a bike through something it really wasn't up to!
Did those bikes usually fall apart or something? I can image the damage that would result trying to make a jump and then your handle bars come loose. lolOh yeah, good for kids, just not for serious riders. You put a Mongoose through serious BMXing and you could literally snap it in half. Bikes for real BXMing need to be seriously strong. I've given it up now, my body cant cope with it any more, it's that tough but my bike was worth about 3 times more than my car, thats how tough it needed to be!

i had a regular bike
My first bike was an Evil Knievel kids bike. Red, white and blue and I thought I was King of the World. Looked a lot like this, but not nearly as nice and new and shiny when I got it.
