It's flood season in Manitoba where I grew up. This is live video of Highway 75 heading north out of Morris, which is about a half hour from my hometown.

That's awful!!... Yuck!.. I hate floods!..

I hope it crests soon, and goes down fast..
I live in a wooded area, there is a small swamp in one side and we have a creek about twenty feet from the back of the house.. It used to be more than thirty feet, but during the last 20 years, because of all the construction in the surrounding towns, it has been flooding more often, and it has taken away a huge chunk of the properties alongside it..
We get flooded about five or six times a year.. the water doesn't get in the houses, but it's a huge nuisance!..

We flooded last week, and I am still shoveling mud out of the way, and already had to give Lilly, my little white long haired dog a bath... twice!.. :ninja
:eek
Have row boat, will travel! :ninja
:lol... We used to have a canoe.. never went in the creek with it, but it came very handy when we had to get to the car during floods.. My husband used it a few years ago, but didn't lock the chain when he got out of it.... It floated away.. never to be seen again!..
No more rowing and traveling down the road again..
