Cant get motivated...

Damnit, I cant seem to get off my ass and clean. My house is trashed because of my dog and kids, and I just dont feel like cleaning.
Ok - since I posted this now, I guess I better get off my ass now.

I love cleaning other people's houses...but cleaning my own is no fun, especailly not when its trashed. I definitely feel ya. Turn some music up loud and dance while ya clean...that always helps me!

hmm. my parents used to say SUNDAYS are rest days when we were little. That means we had to stay in our rooms all day, or sit and watch tv, or take a nap, while they cleaned. I think it was more of a religious thing to them than a tool to get us to sit down and STFU so they could clean the house, but maybe something like that could work iwth austin and jacob? you could make them sit down and watch movies, and tell them if they are quiet and sit still then you will make them something special for dinner or somethin.

i did the dishes and cooked breakfast (lol very late breakfast but hey at least im eating good now). I'm gonna do one thing and then come back here for a little while. lol. I just finished cleaning the kitchen...im talking i pulled the stove out and scrubbed the sides of it and scrubbed the floor with a sponge and clorox. My swiffer just wasnt doing it for me today lol. My bathroom is next.

This was me today - not very motivated at all. I did some, but have rest to do tomorrow and Wednesday - ho-hum...

I got up at 2pm, ate a bowl of cereal, then me and the cat took a nap in the swing out on the deck .. then I came in and chilled in bed til time to go to a ballgame :lol: .. now see that .. that is doing nothing .

So Brian and I hung the shower curtain rod and shower curtain yesterday.

Today I caulked some more and we hung the door.

Now we can piss, shit, and take showers. I just need to fix the one bit of pipe coming off the tub. But for now a bucket will work.

shit and pissed in my half bath, showered at my parents who are 3 blocks away on the way to work.
