I don't know about the truth in drunkenness, but, as I work in a county jail, I know first hand that alcohol makes people become buttholes!

It depends, while i see GP's point made like a freakin month ago in this same thread lol I do think the "brain to mouth" filter is not as strong.

Sometimes when it comes to getting booty people of either sex will do and say anything to get it.

However there are those occasions when being drunk does allow you to feel relaxed enough to actually say what is on your mind without worries of what others may think.

My case and point:
When I first dated my wife, it took me some time to finally realize I was in love with her and when I did I was so afraid of rejection that I didnt really have the balls to say it out loud.

The night before I went on a trip to Cancun, and my last day working as a restaurant manager, the people that worked for me gave me a going away party... it wa fun, it was nce, but i got too damn drunk! Staci lived about 3 blocks form work so I asked if I could crash at her place that night (at this point we werent even certain we were dating) I walked in and basically sat on her bed and laid the truth about my feelings toward her and the reason behind behind me not being as outspoken about them with her or anyone else. Keep in mind, I am not much of a talker nor someone who easily lets his feelings out.. and I can tell you that night, I was not looking for booty, I was being honest and sincere.

So it depends on the kind of person involved, what it is that they are telling you as well as how well you know them

True, that tends to happen. For some reason you do feel a bit more at ease to share feelings.

I think tho the feelings from being as we say "sweet" (nice buzz) is better than being all out drunk.

yes and no. Some people are more likely to reveal feelings when they are inebriated...but some people are just more likely to tell you what you want to hear because you are drunk too. Also, some are likely to write checks with their mouths that their ass can't cash too if you know what I mean. I take everything with a grain of salt.
