Right, right. I am a strong swimmer, with what I guess is know as the breast stroke...That is pretty much the normal stroke....Isn't it?
I dunno. I would always get penalized for illegal leg movement in breast stroke, which is why I never swam it in competition. It's the slowest stroke and I get frustrated with moving slowly.
No I mean it's normally what is used for normal swimming, right, like what we learn as kids?
I normally see guys doing freestyle. Whether it's paddling a surf board out, or just playing around.

Being a Floridiot my mom made all of us learn how to swim before we could walk. Back then there were a lot of back yard pools and no fences around them at all!
And of course we practically lived on the beach.
I followed with that tradition and taught my daughter to swim before she walked even though we were living in England at the time and I had to go to an indoor pool.
I am currently working on teaching my son to swim, He's 18 months old but he has CP so he still isn't walking yet. He does love to swim though!

I think I was 3 when homer threw me in the deleware and had me swiming...I was pretty young too when he put me in the ocean and had me swimming around the jetty's
I'd hope you could swim... being in the Navy and all. All semen... err seamen should be able to swim.
I took my lessons when i was young.
