Can I do this?

Me and some buddies of mine were messing around last night, and we made a humorous video of ourselves. We put a song in the background too. We created using Windows Movie Maker, and it had the option to import a song and everything.

Well, my question is, would it be legal for me to upload this video to somewhere on the net and link to it on Myspace? It would be a huge pain if we had to make our own music to play in the background. I won't be selling it or anything, so do any of you know if it would be ok? Alot of car videos you see have copyrighted songs playing in the background, and it really sets the mood. I doubt everyone who films themselves drag racing, and uploads it to the net, pays for the copyright to use the songs they do...

I don't know of anyone getting into trouble for using a song in a personal video. Thousands of people do it everyday.

I have to admit, I am a little iffy. Lol, but everyone else does it. Besides, I'm a minor for another 2 months :cool
