looks like I got one thing wrong... Salazar went to Fresno, and flew over Mendota and Firebaugh, but didn't actually visit the affected areas. During the town hall meeting he held in Fresno, they offered cash assistance to the unemployed... cash assistance. An audience member responded with, "we don't want your welfare, we want water"

You're saying that people are selfish and want to put themselves as more important than other species on the planet, but why is that bad, but it's okay to put another species as more important than us? How does that make any sense whatsoever?

Thanks, you just proved my point. BTW, the poor little smelt did not over-develop a state with inadequate water supplies. :p Humans have some strengths, but responsible development is not one of them.

I didn't prove any point other than that this type of environmental policy is hypocrisy at best. You also failed to pay any attention to this

The pumps being turned off has had no provable effect on the population of the delta smelt, but yet the pumps remain off.

The smelt population has remained just the same as it had when the pumps were on. So thanks, but try again. As near as I can tell, your opinion is that Californians and by extension, the rest of the country should suffer because some environmentalists decided that a fish is more important than people. The "poor little smelt" also exists in places other than the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. Also... enough with the strawman arguments, they're pathetic.

Hannity is broadcasting both his radio and TV shows from the valley today. I don't know if the radio show is being broadcast there or in a studio, but the television show is going to be broadcast from a field on the west side of the valley, about a half hour from where I live.

Hopefully we'll get some more national exposure on this
