I will be SHOCKED if Kovalchuk ever brings any team a Cup. He's not that kind of player.

Oh don't worry, neither of those players are going anywhere.
I didn't say Sutter was looking to trade them, I was just saying in order to get Kovalchuck, we would need to get rid one of those two.
therefore, we're not trying to get him.
I'm of the personal belief that Sutter is keeping these players. there is no part 2 to this.
(I seriously hope I'm wrong, Iggy needs support) But because I want a part two to the trades, there won't be.

Because if he isn't here yet, then there is something up.
Because I did hear froma few sources that he seriously doesn't want to play for us.
and it was in his contract that he wouldn't play for certain teams, and we were one of those teams.
If that's the case, then there is another deal going to happen.
We currently (now) have too many forwards if our IR players come back.
So somethings going on and only Dutter knows

I can't even say who I'd like Sutter to get. :unsure: I've wanted Stajan for years but we've got him already. Talented players never seem to work out on the Flames so perhaps I'll just say I hope Sutter gets Ryan Whitney.

he's a good player!
But honestly, Kovalchuck doesn't fit into our system so I highly doubt we would get him even if we had the cap space.
