This is something i wrote for a girl i was seeing that had some issues with trust and allowing others in. I hope it can mean something to at least one of you so this poet may rest accomplished
BY YOUR SIDE
though times may get rough
situations may get crazy and you feel trapped suffocating with no place to turn
look to your side
i will be by your side
rivers may run cold
the sun may stop giving us its light
through the darkness and fear
i will stay by your side
their may be no more reasons for smiles
no more reasons to care
through the fire and pouring rain
i will stay by your side
their may not be an escape
no easy way to solve your problem
though you may cry rivers and hurt for an eternity
i will stay by your side
though bliss may be an illusion
though we may yell and curse the day we met
though the storms seem to be a never ending plague
i will stay by your side
you may ask me to leave
you may tell me theirs no love
though your heart may run cold and your soul may loose its muse
i will stay by your side
you may never see that rainbow
that reason for life
you may never understand why i stay, why ive chosen your side
regardless of anything.. i will stay by your side
maybe because we dont know any better
because we are victims of life
because by your side is the only thing i know
i will stay by your side
it may be that tears have become your hobby
they form puddles that you lay in
though your heart may skip some beats and happiness is an extinct emotion
i will stay by your side
it is by your side that i will be...it is the path ive chosen. let the world retalliate and tell me its a mistake..that all we have is fake. A dream once dreamt an unknowing premonition.
Though i love you is something you may never believe, and pain may blind you unable to see.
though the past haunts you unable to move, frozen in anxiety. Just feel your way around, you know where i will be. the same place ive always been and will be. the place i call home. Next to you holding your hands, drying your tears absorbing you pain, the place no othe can take
