I'm single and I love it.

No women on rags wenching at me about stupid shit, no relationships, no dates, no worries. It's great.

I do what I want when I want, I listen to what i want when I want, I play games when I want to, I can sit and chill out when I want to. No one nitpicking about my cleanliness (or lack there of), no one bitching about the tv I watch, the way i drive my car, my smoking, my drinking, anything. I love being single.

Anyone who insults me for being by myself, leave me alone! That's the way I want it.

I was at my friends birthday party last night, having a great time and I just couldn't wait to get my check from the waitress so I could go home and just spread out comfortably and do whatever the hell I wanted to do.

No kids crying at me, no wife or girlfriend wanting me to do things I don't want to do....

I tell you, it's great.

glad you feel that way...
BUT

Sometimes, having a chick, is better. (sometimes its not, but for the most part, you could be much MUCH more happier.) And if those kids were yours, you would be loving it to see them happy. :)

I personally, could not imagine living single. I would be lonely and would miss having someone hold me, someone to listen to my problems, someone there to cheer me up. My husband is my heart and soul and I LOVE having someone. Couldnt imagine my life w/o him.

Well, I was own my own for a few years.

I actually can see from James's point of view in a way (there's a first. LOL) - I have to say that I actually enjoyed 'my time' on my own. I cld pls myself too (tut tut, not like that!!! :D ).

I didn't have to consider a partner when frnds wanted me to go out with them to a pub, club, wherever.

I didn't have to dress up if I didn't want to.

I didn't have to 'check' with a partner if we cld go to so and so's for an evening the following weekend.

If I wanted to be somewhere, I just went.

I just paid for myself every time I went out - not paying one time and not the next and so on.

That was how it was when I was on my own and I didn't miss anything - even the intimate side. I was very glad to be on my own.

Then my OH and I got together - long story, but that's not needed anyway.

Yes, I could do all the above and more, but I couldn't dream of being without him now! All the above I actually find endearing now and it's no hardship to be like that.

I love what we have and I dnt look back either.

James, don't speak too soon!!! LOL :D

It comes and gets you when you have so definately made your mind up - that's exactly how it happened to me! I am far more happy now, than even before that and I was happy then. :)

No Haus.

I chose to be single before, as it goes.

I made the right choice too!

I also chose to be with who I am with now - didn't have to be single at all, didn't have to be with my partner I got now.

I am happy now, was then too. :)
