What started out as a pretty good weekend ended up turning into a crappy ending.
Started out getting to leave work early Friday morning cause it was dead. I got to leave @ 4am! Actually got to sleep!:clap
Then Brianna (my oldest daughter) came home with papers from her teacher saying that the school counselor picked her to be the ambassador for her class for the rest of the school year
Me and her went out and celebrated that night.
Saturday, we had her birthday party at Mid America Science Musuem (will try to post pics later). She had a pretty good turn out of people and they all seemed to have had a blast.
Early Sunday morning about 6:45, my aunt called me and told me she was going to the hospital cause she was having contractions every 4 min apart. I got up and went with her. This is her 1st child. Stayed in the delivery room with her until she had her baby a little before noon. As soon as I left the room to announce to the rest of the family in the waiting room about her having the baby, my brother pulled me aside saying he just had gotten word that a friend of our family was killed that morning in Iraq
He was only 21.
Then I get home about 4pm and my husband tells me that one of his friends was killed early that morning out at the mines on a 4 wheeler. He was drunk and wrecked the 4 wheeler.
So that sums up my weekend in a nutshell
