Bush spent trillions in Iraq. Is such spending justified and the aftermath today is economic crisis with repercussions for the rest of the world
time will tell if the effort was worth it.
if Iraq becomes a stable democracy that will be the beginning of some peace in that region.
As to the economics...... The war did not bankrupt us. It is far more complex than that. Wish it was otherwise because we could put out war bonds like back during WWII to take care of it.
