I don't really make resolutions. But a promise I made to myself was to finally learn to speak Italian. I have Rosetta Stone. Haven't started yet, but I will.
My hand is raised high on this one. I only made one resolution this year that I will not complain. I was talking with a friend on Sunday when I noticed that I had done exactly that. Yes I will observe the resolution of not murmuring or complaining even when things do not work out as I hope.
I made a few that were about tackling tasks l wanted to sort out at home. Putting together a good first aid kit, being more organized, and trying to save some money on household bills. Nothing spectacular, but I'm off to a good start anyway, so I'll see how it goes.
I'd also like to take on some new hobbies or extend my interest in some of my current ones, but I'll have to see how that goes as there are only so many hours in the day.
I hardly ever make resolutions because I hate the pressure that they bring to my life. I always end up feeling like I have failed miserably when I don't achieve what I had set out to do so I find it much easier to just improve on whatever I see the need to improve on in a much more relaxed manner.
