I took this shot this morning.

This is an older shot of the base of the same falls. I didn't feel like climbing up to it today.

damn......i bet i could find loads of dragonflies there
I doubt you would find any there but there's a place about 5 minutes drive from there you'd be in your glory. It's a real marsh area. I stopped there this morning, got out of my car and promptly back in. You couldn't breath with your mouth open due to all the bloody mosquitoes.

Cool falls. I read you can drive your car underneath them. I don't know if I'll ever make it over that way. It's about a 14 hour drive for me. Although Nashville TN is on the way. So maybe it'd make a good road trip someday.

Sorry to tell you this but you can't drive your call under those falls. Nashville is also a bit of a drive considering it's in British Columbia. To be exact Nashville is 1978 miles away from the falls.

Nice pics! Are those the ones off of the Sea To Sky highway just north of Van? Or maybe I'm thinking of different ones.
No Zirc. That one is just east of Chilliwack on the right hand side of the road as you're heading home.

Thanks btw

Wow! Beautiful. Is it loud?
I was far far away from it today. Beside that I was standing on the side of the freeway so all I could hear was vehicle noise. If you go to the base of it it's fairly loud but not enough where you get to practice your female yelling at male voice.

Bwahahahahaha..... When and if I do use my female yelling at male voice.... There isn't anywhere loud enough to muffle me out.

..... There are some beautiful falls way north of my area.... They have an upper and a lower falls open to the public. I viewed it from somewhere in between. I remember the thundering or pounding noise and feeling the mist and just wondering at the power of it all. I suppose it wouldn't have mattered if I could be heard over it or not.... as I was dumbfounded. :)

I remember hearing that exact statement a couple of times if you know what I mean. ;)

lol Now I feel dumb. Thanks for setting me straight. There is a Bridal Veil Falls in NC too. After comparing the two pictures, I think your falls are much prettier.
