Records used to be legendary moments. Now, with better training and tech, they fall more often.
Does record-breaking still carry the same excitement for you?

Breaking records is still a big deal in sports, entertainment, and even technology. It serves as a tangible marker of achievement, pushing individuals to surpass limitations and inspire others. For athletes, breaking records like Usain Bolt’s sprint times or Michael Phelps’ Olympic golds solidifies legacy and builds global recognition.

There are sports records that an athlete breaks and it becomes a global phenomenon. Records that have existed for generations. When a player breaks it, it is such a big deal. The hype in breaking such records is still electrifying and surreal.

I think breaking record is still a big deal. Records the athletes have broken gives them identity, that makes them memorable.

When an athlete breaks a record in sports, they edge their names into the history and lore of that sports forever. And that is regardless of if someone else broke the record after him or her.

I think a lot of athletes, especially in football (American football, not soccer) are obsessed with breaking records or setting their own records these days.
