Pancakes and Bacon... but not just any pancakes (even though the regular ones are just fine)... but: Ebelskivers! Those things are awesome... light and airy on the inside with a nice filling and crispy on the outside (which are some of the finer points of waffles usually except with these you get a little filling and still get to use syrup).

And bacon: well... the only place I like breakfast sausage is in sausage gravy.


Course you didn't add into the list :Goetta... which ties bacon and ham as my breakfast meat of choice!

Ideal daily breakfast- whole grain cereal with walnuts sprinkled on top and skim or soy milk- because I crave carbs and it tastes good.

Once a week- Pecan pancakes, eggs sunny side up, sausage, grits, biscuits or corn meal muffins + butter and raspberry jam or honey- because these are really good at Cracker Barrel. It's called Smokehouse breakfast...
