Any reason why French particularly? I couldn't stand it at school, I preferred German![]()
I've started a few Stephen King novels, but every time, something gets in my way of finishing.
Im reading the third book in the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay. Awsome HBO series based on well written books IMO.
holy fuckI saw a book today at Borders I wanted to get, called "The Sociopath Next Door". I didn't have the money to buy it so I'll either read it online or see if the library has a copy. It's basically a book on the psychology of sociopaths. It was something like 1 out of 4 people you know is a sociopath. Nuts, huh?
only me, hey wait a minute:jkLOL Have any of them done something downright wrong/unethical and didn't feel bad about it?

that Ellison dude is sick - that story was soo dark and just reeked of pain and depression, it was hard to read, very powerful though. The Ligotti one was too gothic for my taste but well written neverthelessHarlan Ellison
"I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream"
Have you read that one yet? If so, what do you make of it? Ellison is one of my favs. And
Thomas Ligotti
The Last Feast of Harlequin
I have Ligotti's "Nightmare Factory." Another fav or mine.
Good stuff :thumbup:thumbup
Cradle to Cradle. Very interesting indeed.
What's the plot?
it's not a novel, it's a book about our consumption model, and suggestions on how it could be changed: rather than making and recycling, designing and building items with future uses in mind, with sustainable materials. Really quite fascinating.

Sounds interesting. Have any of the suggested changes been implemented?
